On March 11, 2011 GOODING & Co at their Amelia Island auction will be selling THIS SUPER RARE ALLOY XK 120. This is by miles the rarest alloy Jaguar XK 120 on the planet owned by a Member of the Jaguar Social Network. A 1949 Jaguar XK120 Alloy and is one of the oldest surviving examples. It is the VERY FIRST XK 120 ever imported into the U.S. and the only example finished in Blue Sheen paint. Initially delivered to influential New York foreign car dealer and racing enthusiast Max Hoffman. Its auction estimate is $375,000 - $550,000
